Braveheart Domestic Shorthair Adult Male in Cumberland, Maine

My story
Braveheart is a 4 year old FIV+ boy who came to us from our rescue partner in Tennessee.

He is a rarely seen dillute tortie male cat!

Typically, tortie cats are female.

He's been very loving since arriving and was purring and looking from attention from our vet during his exam!

Here is what his rescuers in Tennessee have to say about this handsome guy.Braveheart (named for the heart-shaped white marking on his chest) was a homeless cat in rural West Tennessee until we (a Memphis area cat rescue group) heard about his situation and rescued him.

Life had not been kind to Braveheart prior to his rescue and we expect that he had known little kindness or creature comforts.

He was timid when we first got him, but has blossomed into the sweetest, gentlest cat who loves attention and flops over for belly rubs constantly.

We expect he will revert to a bit of shyness in a new situation, but given a calm, loving environment, you’ll be treated to a wonderful, loving feline friend.

We are so grateful to HART of Maine for helping him find the amazing home he deserves and we look forward so much to hearing about the fabulous life ahead of him in New England! Please complete our online adoption application and come to the shelter to meet him!Submit your online application today! For kittens (below 6 months old), find our application here: /our-kittens-cv19For cats 6 months of age and older, find our application here: /our-cats***FKA = Formerly Known As
